Geomancy Project
Led by her keen interest in body and environment, Maeshiba ventures into various historical sites in Baltimore, Maryland, in an attempt to unbury what is hidden in places.
Through this project, Maeshiba hopes to find an answer to the question, “can I dance the place?” “what does it really mean to dance the place instead of dancing in the place?” She hopes to illuminate the invisible layers of time and place through her body.
